We had vegetable lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and General Tso's tofu. The lo mein had a complex, smoky flavor and was not overly greasy. Same for the fried rice, it was light and fresh tasting. All of the vegetables were crisp, not a withered pea in the bunch! The General Tso's tofu was salty and slightly chewy, the sauce was delicious. We were totally surprised by the quality of this meal. $17 for more than enough food for two and it was all so good. This place is better than the "supposed" best carry-out in Washington, DC. We will be ordering again, I hope they are consistent!

Great and modest at the same time, this tiny little Chinese restaurant in Bethany has the formula down just right. Decent prices, good location, polite and friendly, and some very nice dishes for take out. Make sure you order early in the summertime, otherwise you may not get through on their phone lines- yes, it's that popular! I've sampled several vegetarian dishes and they have all been nicely prepared. This is not Kowloon or Shanghai, but really good stuff for our touristy little area. I do wish they'd offer brown rice, but you can't have everything! Credit cards taken... Come hungry!

They may be Number 1 for the worst Kung pao chicken I've ever had! And the egg roll was dreadful. So much for going with other people's reviews!

This place was surprisingly good, looking past the strip mall location. The mooshi chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce dishes were both tasty. If you are looking for quick, no-frills takeout after a long day at the beach, this is your place.

Good hole in the wall Chinese place. Kung pao chicken was flavorful & there was a lot of it. Egg roll was awesome. Service was fairly quick & friendly.

Good for satisfing a craving - not good enough to be a destination you'd go out of the way to reach. Lots of food for the money! There are very few Chinese places in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
